Fifties style

Black silky shirts with white polka dots and red nails just scream 1950s to me. Of course girls in the fifties probably didn't pair their blouses with denim vests....

I found this beautiful Ann Taylor Loft at a garage sale for fifty cents! As soon as I saw it, I grabbed it as fast as was humanly possible. The sleeves are my favorite part of it, they are slightly puffed and three quarters length.

Elaine at Clothed Much wore her belt tucked in like this and I loved how it looked so I decided to try it for myself. =]

Preppy?

Yesterday, I wore my glasses due to problems with my contacts. I also decided to wear my sweater vest, which made the whole outfit kind of preppy. Then my hair was gross looking, so I put it up in the bun (which took a lot of hairspray and bobby pins!) So I look a bit like a school teacher... =p

New haircut!

I cut my hair a couple of days ago. I just trimmed the layers a bit, so it's a little curlier/fluffier.

 I absolutely love these shoes! I call them my Michael Jackson shoes because they remind me a little of the shoes he wore...

Very excited...
