I was a vampire today.

Today I had an orthodontist appointment. They had to prop my mouth open with this odd plastic thing while they worked on my teeth. The plastic piece made little creases in my lips for awhile. I think they made me look like a vampire. Pretty cool, huh?

Today my family and I went to help set up tables and chairs for the Regional speech tournament. It starts tomorrow! *gulp* I'm not actually competing Wednesday, but I have to be there all day. Starting Thursday, I'll have rounds to compete in. Wish me luck! =D

Easter bonnet

I wore this hat on Easter Sunday. Our church had a brunch before the service. After the service we went home and ate a yummy rice casserole dish and slices of ham. Next, my brother and I went to another church service and got to hang out with Gray, Keilah, Problematic, and many other awesome people. Afterwards, our family had our traditional strawberry and chocolate pie. It was a wonderful day. =] He is risen!

These were taken in a rush last night, while we were all dyeing Easter eggs. After dyeing eggs we watched The Blind Side. It was a lovely movie! I loved Sandra Bullock's performance and the character of Leigh Anne Tuohy.

We also watched Penelope a few days ago. It was a really sweet movie with awesome costume design. I loved Penelope's wedding dress and her green shoes.
