Narnia's Wardrobe: Queen Susan the Gentle
This is for the Narnia's Wardrobe fashion event over at The Christian Fashionista!
Susan is my favorite character and I love dressing up, so I'm excited for this opportunity. =]
Today's outfit is my idea of what Susan would wear after she was crowned Queen of Narnia. She has a lovely flowery dress with a cape and pearl accents.
Tomorrow I'll be posting more Susan outfits.

Outfit inspiration: Leap Year
My family and I really love the movie Leap Year. It's funny, has great dialogue, wonderful actors, gorgeous scenery (Ireland. is. beautiful!), and Amy Adams wears really awesome clothes. ;] Today's outfit is inspired by this outfit:
Cardigan, floral blouse, and a pencil skirt. The only thing I didn't have is four inch high heels... =p

I wore this last Thursday to go to a Shakespeare in the Park production of Much Ado about Nothing. I enjoyed it a lot! It's such a wonderful play and whoever did the blocking was a genius. =]

simple grey and black
I got dressed in a hurry this morning, so this outfit is rather simple, with no accessories. =] I love this dress, it was in the box that Brenna gave me. Thanks again, Brenna! ;]
I'm toying with the idea of hosting a fashion week. I just need a theme...I have a few in mind, but I can't decide. Does anyone have any ideas on themes?

Anne of Green Gables fashion week: last day!
I wanted to draw a picture for the Anne of Green Gables week, but I was so busy that it took a while to get around to it. So here I am, posting this just in the nick of time. It's almost midnight! =]
I chose to draw Anne being the Lady of Shalot in the old rowboat on the lake. This is right before the boat starts taking in water, while she's still lying down, with the flowers in her hand.
This is the last day of the Anne of Green Gables fashion week. It's been a blast! Thanks so much, Ashley. =D
I have some exciting news coming up soon....I'm almost to my 100th post, and I'm thinking about having a special giveaway! So stay tuned for the details on that. =]

Anne of Green Gables day seven: pearl ring tutorial
To make the ring you will need:
a pearl shank button
and
silver beading wire
and
wire cutters.
1. First, make a wire circle that fits the finger you will wear the ring on. I used a piece of pipe that was the same thickness as my finger to shape the wire. Loop the wire two or three times to make the circle thicker.
2. Next, cut a piece of wire about two to three inches long. Draw it through the loop on the pearl button. begin wrapping the wire around your wire circle to attach the pearl to the ring. Use the extra wire to wrap around the pearl.
Then you're done! Enjoy your beautiful ring. =]
