Tournament attire: day three
This was the last day, when they had the semi finals and finals rounds. I broke to semi's, which I kind of expected, but then I also broke to the finals round, which I did not expect! I was so excited. =D I ended up getting fifth place in my event. I'm also qualified to go to the Regional tournament.
Tournament attire: day one
The dress code for the speech and debate tournament is business dress, so that means lots of suit jackets, dress pants, fancy shoes and skirts. Here's what I wore on the first day, Thursday:
(Notice the lovely lego/video game poster in the background...this was taken in my brothers' room)These green shoes are so fabulous! Unfortunately, they're a bit too small for me. =p

White on white
I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan, and I love wearing outfits inspired by his style. This one has layered white shirts and white fingerless gloves and is similar to what he wore in his Black or White music video.
I will be taking a short break from posting because I'm involved in a Speech tournament that starts tomorrow and goes till Saturday.
Yesterday I wore...
This style is my go-to style if I'm in a hurry or don't have a lot of time to get an outfit ready. It's kind of grunge/punkish and consists of skinny jeans, black, fingerless gloves, and Converse sneakers.

New haircut!
I cut my hair a couple of days ago. I just trimmed the layers a bit, so it's a little curlier/fluffier.
I absolutely love these shoes! I call them my Michael Jackson shoes because they remind me a little of the shoes he wore...

This was just a comfy outfit I threw on because I didn't have to go anywhere. Not too classy or fashionable, but hey, it worked. =]

Feeling Valentinesy...
The pink/purple combination and the huge, soft sweater just make me think of February and hearts and Valentine's Day. And my hair actually decided to behave and be pretty and curly, which was nice.

Last Sunday...
Not totally sure, but I think everything in this outfit is thrifted, including the rings and the nail polish! Thrift stores are awesome... =]
Now I'd like to introduce you to my fabulous younger brother, Balamorgineas, who doubles as my outfit photographer:
Is it a skirt, or a shirt?
[blazer, turtleneck, button-down top, necklace: thrifted; bow ring: Forever 21; skinny jeans: Gap; shoes: Converse; skirt/top: gift from my sister]
My older sister gave me this skirt for Christmas. We weren't sure whether it was really a skirt or if it was a top! I've worn it as both now and I love it either way. =]
And I just realized this is the third post in a row where I'm wearing my Converse sneakers...I can't help it, I just love them! <3 <3 <3

I love color!

I've never worn this shirt before, my sister got it to use for a costume in a skit she was in and she didn't want it afterwards. I wasn't sure about the necklace. It's a guitar pick with a flame on it...it didn't quite look right with the rest of the outfit, but I decided to just throw it on anyway. You're supposed to take risks in life aren't you? =]
